Dr. Rebecca Nemiroff (She/Her)

Dr. Nemiroff offers psychological services to adults, adolescents, children aged 10 and over, and families in English. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa and is a registered psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Quebec and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Therapy and assessment services are confidential and are reimbursed by most private insurance plans.
Dr. Nemiroff provides services in an empathic and non-judgemental environment. She works with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related difficulties, dissociative disorders, and neurodivergent individuals. She works with parents to help understand and improve emotional and behavioural difficulties with their children, and helping both children and adults adjust to separation and divorce. Dr. Nemiroff takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining elements of cognitive-behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based, experiential, and emotion-focused treatment strategies. For Dr. Nemiroff, therapy means working with people to help them learn new approaches to problems in living, to better cope with difficult emotions, to form healthy and meaningful relationships with other people, and to pursue the things that are most important to them. Therapy is a collaborative process, a partnership between client and therapist to empower clients to work towards their own healing and mental health. Dr. Nemiroff has a strong commitment to social justice in her work and in her life. |
Dr. Karen Gobeil (She/Her)

Dr. Gobeil offers psychological services to children, adolescents, and families in English and French. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her doctoral research focused on weight and bullying in adolescents. She completed three years of internship working with children, adolescents and families, two of them working for local school boards. She has provided psychotherapy and counselling, mostly for difficulties related to anxiety, ADHD, learning problems, mood or relationships. Her therapeutic practice is generally cognitive-behavioural and inspired by solution-focused brief therapy. Creating positive moments, self-acceptance, compassion and using strengths are some of her priorities in therapy.

Dr. Maxime Dorville (He/Him)

Dr. Dorville offers individual psychological services to adults and adolescents aged 16 and older in English and French. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa, writing his dissertation on the subject of motivation and pro-environmental behaviors. During his training, he has had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults. He has provided psychotherapy and assessment services for diverse difficulties including anxiety, mood difficulties, and post-traumatic stress. His therapeutic practice is generally cognitive-behavioral but he also had experience with other therapeutic approaches that have included mindfulness and experiential components.

Holly Johnston offers individual counselling services to to adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 and over in English. Holly will be providing services from our satellite office in Ottawa as of May, 2025.
Holly is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Laurentian University. She is passionate about working with individuals from all walks of life in empathetic and non-judgmental environment. Holly aims to create a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood as they work through their challenges. Holly uses evidence-based approaches to help individuals navigate a variety of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, and coping with difficult life events. Holly focuses on her client's unique needs and experiences, emphasizing empathy and unconditional positive regard to foster personal growth and self-discovery. She uses interventions to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths and resources to create positive change, to enhance motivation and commitment to change, and to develop effective strategies for managing challenges and achieving their goals. Holly believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is dedicated to working alongside her clients as they explore concerns, uncover insights, and develop strategies that empower them to lead more fulfilling lives. Whether they are seeking help for a specific issue or want a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, Holly is eager to support her clients on their paths to healing and growth and assisting them in achieving their mental health goals. |

Kira Baskerville provides individual counselling services to children ages 10 years and up,
adolescents, and adults in English. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Learning & Community Development from Algonquin College, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Heritage College, and a certification as a Forest and Nature Practitioner through the Child & Nature Alliance of Canada. Kira helps her clients navigate life’s challenges through a gentle, empathetic, and supportive approach that draws from a variety of therapeutic models and theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Narrative, Solution-Focused and Strengths-Based. She thoughtfully tailors her approach to best support individual client needs. In her practice, Kira believes that creating a calm and serene environment can encourage healing to occur organically. Kira is ready to accompany her clients as they navigate a variety of obstacles towards optimal mental health, including but not limited to, parenting and family challenges, caregiver fatigue, relationship struggles, self-esteem, burnout, anxiety, depression, health challenges, and coping with difficult life events. Kim Lavigne offers individual counselling services to adults aged 18 and over in English. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality.
Kim is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and inclusive environment. She recognizes the courage it takes to seek support and strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. Kim uses a client-centered, trauma-informed and integrative approach drawing from a variety of therapeutic models and techniques to best meet each client's unique needs, goals, and values. Her work is grounded in empathy, respect, and a belief in each person’s inherent capacity for growth and transformation.
