Dr. Rebecca Nemiroff (She/Her)

Dr. Nemiroff offers psychological services to adults, adolescents, children aged 10 and over, and families in English. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa and is a registered psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Quebec and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Therapy and assessment services are confidential and are reimbursed by most private insurance plans.
Dr. Nemiroff provides services in an empathic and non-judgemental environment. She works with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related difficulties, dissociative disorders, and neurodivergent individuals. She works with parents to help understand and improve emotional and behavioural difficulties with their children, and helping both children and adults adjust to separation and divorce. Dr. Nemiroff takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining elements of cognitive-behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based, experiential, and emotion-focused treatment strategies. For Dr. Nemiroff, therapy means working with people to help them learn new approaches to problems in living, to better cope with difficult emotions, to form healthy and meaningful relationships with other people, and to pursue the things that are most important to them. Therapy is a collaborative process, a partnership between client and therapist to empower clients to work towards their own healing and mental health. Dr. Gobeil offers psychological services to children, adolescents, and families in English and French. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her doctoral research focused on weight and bullying in adolescents. She completed three years of internship working with children, adolescents and families, two of them working for local school boards. She has provided psychotherapy and counselling, mostly for difficulties related to anxiety, ADHD, learning problems, mood or relationships. Her therapeutic practice is generally cognitive-behavioural and inspired by solution-focused brief therapy. Creating positive moments, self-acceptance, compassion and using strengths are some of her priorities in therapy.

Dr. Dorville offers individual psychological services to adults and adolescents aged 16 and older in English and French. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa, writing his dissertation on the subject of motivation and pro-environmental behaviors. During his training, he has had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults. He has provided psychotherapy and assessment services for diverse difficulties including anxiety, mood difficulties, and post-traumatic stress. His therapeutic practice is generally cognitive-behavioral but he also had experience with other therapeutic approaches that have included mindfulness and experiential components.

Stéphanie St-Cyr offers occupational therapy services to adults and adolescents in both English and French.
I am an occupational therapist working with individuals facing various challenges related to motivation, organization, daily management, and interpersonal relationships. I have worked in mental health for several years, which has allowed me to support a diverse clientele, including many neurodivergent adults, particularly those living with ADHD, while providing respectful, concrete, and strength-based care. My approach incorporates evidence-based methods such as behavioral activation, which helps encourage engagement in meaningful activities to overcome procrastination and improve well-being. I also use assertive training to help clients develop clear, assertive, and respectful communication skills, strengthening their social and professional relationships. I work closely with clients on setting realistic, personalized goals that foster motivation and steady progress toward their ambitions. Together, we develop strategies to establish effective routines and support more harmonious daily functioning. My approach is compassionate, strength-focused, and always sprinkled with a bit of humor, because a little lightness can make all the difference in a journey of change. |

Holly Johnston offers individual counselling services to to adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 and over in English. Holly will be providing services from our satellite office in Ottawa as of May, 2025.
Holly is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Laurentian University. She is passionate about working with individuals from all walks of life in empathetic and non-judgmental environment. Holly aims to create a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood as they work through their challenges. Holly uses evidence-based approaches to help individuals navigate a variety of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, and coping with difficult life events. Holly focuses on her client's unique needs and experiences, emphasizing empathy and unconditional positive regard to foster personal growth and self-discovery. She uses interventions to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths and resources to create positive change, to enhance motivation and commitment to change, and to develop effective strategies for managing challenges and achieving their goals. Holly believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is dedicated to working alongside her clients as they explore concerns, uncover insights, and develop strategies that empower them to lead more fulfilling lives. Mostyn Gravelle is an engaged and passionate social worker who offers psychosocial services to both adolescents and adults in English and French. As an empathetic individual who is dedicated to providing a safe space for those seeking help, Mostyn will listen to the needs of the clients and go above and beyond to provide support tailored to their exact needs. They have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Quebec in Outaouais and are a member of the Quebec Order of Social Workers.
In their practice, Mostyn uses diverse techniques to help clients face the various obstacles life might throw their way. They take an empowerment approach , focusing on increasing clients' capacity to take control of situations and make their own decisions, rather than simply providing temporary solutions. In sessions, Mostyn can provide the necessary support and the right tools to help people through mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, burn out as well as difficult life events. They strive to create a safe space and a collaborative partnership to properly support, help and guide their clients towards healing. Mostyn is experienced with sensitive issues such as domestic violence, police brutality, and sexual trauma, to name only a few. With their help, clients will be able to walk through difficult experiences in order to find ways to heal. To Mostyn, the understanding of social issues and how they may affect different individuals is essential in their line of work. She is a healthcare professional and intern in counselling psychology, currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She brings extensive experience supporting individuals and families through complex health-related and end-of-life decisions. Drawing on her background in respiratory therapy, Louise offers a grounded, compassionate approach that helps clients explore their emotional experiences, navigate transitions, and reconnect with their strengths. Louise is perfectly bilingual and will be happy to help in either French or English.

Kim Lavigne offers individual psychotherapy services to adults aged 18 and over in English. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality.
Kim is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and inclusive environment. She recognizes the courage it takes to seek support and strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. Kim uses a client-centered, trauma-informed and integrative approach drawing from a variety of therapeutic models and techniques to best meet each client's unique needs, goals, and values.
